As a member of UCB Credit Union, you do not have to worry about the security
and confidentiality of your personal information. Just like you, we want all
of your personal information kept that way — personal and private. This
notice describes the privacy policy and practices followed by UCB Credit Union.
Member Information We Collect
The Credit Union collects only relevant information about members in order
to establish and maintain your account and services as the law allows or requires
us to collect. We may collect personal information about you which is "nonpublic." The
nonpublic personal information we collect varies depending on the accounts
and services you request and use. We collect information about you from the

Our Confidentiality and Security Safeguards
We maintain strict policies and security controls to assure that your nonpublic
personal information in our computer systems and tiles is protected.
Our Sharing of Member Information
In order to provide financial services to you, we share certain information
about you with our affiliates and third party service providers. However,
we limit any information sharing to the extent necessary to service your
account.
If we share your information, it is with the goal of bringing you quality
services, more choices, and greater convenience. Information
we may have about former members in generally only shared or disclosed if
required to enforce or administer and account or as required by law.
Sharing Information with Third Party Service Providers
In order for us to conduct our operations, including servicing your account
or processing your transactions, we need to share information with our service
providers, including the following: data processing companies, check and
other payment processing companies, insurance companies, collection agencies,
credit reporting agencies and services providers with whom we have joint
marketing agreements. These service providers act on our behalf and have
agreed in writing to keep the information we provide to them confidential.

depending on the specific services provided:
Sharing Information as Legally Required or Permitted
We may share any nonpublic personal information of yours in response to a lawful
request issued by a court, government agency, or regulatory authority or
as permitted by law in order to administer or enforce your account. We may
also share our experience information about you with credit bureaus. Our
reporting to credit bureaus is governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act,
which affords you the right to make sure that your credit bureau reports
are accurate.
Information About Your Choice
We're dedicated to serving your needs and to
respecting your choices related to privacy. If you wish to opt out of such
information sharing please call
1-801-220-0800. We will ask you to verify your identity and the specific
accounts to which the opt out applies, so please have all of your account,
membership,
or reference numbers, and your Social Security number for accounts available
when you call or you may also notify us of your choices in writing.
Federal regulations require us to provide this notice on an annual basis, whether or not an account has previously opted out. Please remember this when you receive our subsequent notices. We may amend this privacy notice at any time, and we will inform you of changes as required by law.
